Seller Financing





Course is targeted to Alabama seller financing, but much of the content depends on federal law and so is relevant to all states.  Some concepts are identified as Alabama-specific, but can be easily researched by people interested in other states’ laws.

Discusses a variety of seller financing mechanisms, negotiation and drafting tips, tax treatment depending on how the deal is structured and/or the seller’s own status, how to avoid problems, pricing strategies, the exemptions so a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator is not necessary, and the exemptions regarding Dodd-Frank rules that also apply to financing sellers.

Class includes suggested forms that should be modified for your own use with the assistance of any attorney.

Live class is 5 hours, but includes periodic breaks. The video covers exactly the same material but is slightly less than 4 hours because there are no breaks in the video.
